NEW STUDIO LOCATION

WDP has resumed business at our new location, at The Fort, Columbus within Steelton Village, just south of downtown Columbus, Ohio. This is an opportunity to work alongside some of the best and brightest in the city, and we are honored beyond belief to be a part their community.

Over the next year, WDP will expand into a team of photographers, offering professional headshots, photography education, and of course The Portrait Experience with Whitney.

HEADSHOT EVENTS

WDP will be hosting monthly headshot events, every first Friday of the month throughout 2023. 
This is a great way to update your headshot if you’re only looking for a shot or two. 

20 minute session, 1 look/outfit, choice of 2 backdrops, and 1 full resolution file with commercial use license. 
$200 for one pose/image file, $275 for two.

Light hair & makeup touchups are available for events, while full hair and makeup is not – ask us how to schedule a full headshot session for full HMUA options!

This gorgeous series of 9 shots is a toast to the seasons, as we bid adieu to the warmth of summer and welcome the crisp air (& waters) of fall.Β 

I haven’t gone outside of the studio to shoot creatively, just for me, in a long time. We laughed ourselves sick, turned blue from the cold, and ended up covered in mud… COMPLETELY worth it.

I live for photoshoots like this –Β #raw,Β #emotive,Β #exposedΒ – it’s what keeps me coming back to photography again and again.Β This is also a testament to the fact that makeup (and all the extra) is NOT required to create ART! Come as you are, heart and soul… and let’s make magic.

Embracing Your Age is Embracing Your Strength | 50 Over 50 | Columbus, OH Photographer

This beauty is one of our latest 50 Over 50 clients, and we were so thrilled when she agreed to be a part of this.

Raynea has been through a lot of storms over the past few years, and what a FIGHTER she is. Her story is one of perseverance and strength through the storm.

This is what she had to say:

“I believe that when we have walked through trauma and we have fought so hard for ourselves that we absolutely should document who we came out as on the other side of the storm.  That is exactly why I chose to have portraits done by Whitney.  I want nothing more in life than for my children to look at their mom and see a women that fought through it all; a strong, determined, resilient warrior.  I also want women to know that they are worth fighting for.  I absolutely love being in my 50’s.  I’m stronger, healthier and fiercer than ever before.  I encourage you to embrace your age.  Embrace your strength.  You are a powerhouse.“

50 Over 50 Project: NOW BOOKING

This year I set out on a mission. A mission of empowerment and celebration of life, age, and all things beauty.

In turning 35, I’ve found myself with a false sense of belief that these, my 30’s, are my best years, and that if I don’t act now – enjoy them to the fullest now, that I’m going to miss out on something in life. None of that is true. There is no perfect time frame, or specific season of your life in which to love yourself and enjoy life more. That time is now… 20lbs up or 20lbs down, 35 or 65 years young. This moment right now is still a part of your life regardless of the number of years you’ve been blessed with. It deserves its own honor, love, and much earned respect. I believe women truly do get more beautiful with age.

The women I’ve been meeting during this project have a confidence in them that only age and life experience can bring. They’re fierce… POWERFUL in their own right, and they are PROOF that life over 50 can be a sexy time of celebration, thriving, success, and fun. πŸ–€
