Whitney Brown is a photographer, writer, and educator who specializes in editorial and commercial portrait photography, with an emphasis on timeless black + white imagery and dramatic, often high-contrast lighting.  

Having worked with hundreds of portrait, headshot, and editorial clients across the U.S., Whitney has years of experience in the field as a photographer, retoucher, studio owner, and educator. While she is most widely known for her portrait and editorial work, her fine art portfolio has expanded to include thematic, storytelling bodies of work, including her latest project: “The Midnight Garden” as well as her long-time portfolio, “Art of the Female Form” now available in print.

Whitney is based in Yellow Springs, OH and Los Angeles, CA.
